Vintage J Wallace Zuni Turquoise Cluster Ring Sterling Silver 23.8g Sz 8
Vintage Signed J. Wallace Zuni Turquoise Cluster Statement Ring
Exceptional vintage Zuni turquoise cluster ring, hand signed J. WALLACE on the reverse.
This is an unusually large and beautifully constructed example of traditional Zuni turquoise jewelry. The dramatic oval face measures approximately 2¾ inches long and is densely set with individually cut turquoise cabochons.
The stones are arranged in a highly symmetrical botanical/tree-like cluster pattern, with a central vertical design surrounded by radiating turquoise elements. Each stone is individually mounted in a traditional serrated bezel.
Hand-applied twisted silver wire and silver drops provide additional dimensional detail throughout the composition.
